About property sales
Summary
Each month, thousands of properties are sold throughout New York City. In this section of EveryBlock, we show you recent property sales near you — and provide details about the transaction, including the sale price.
The information, from the city Department of Finance, also includes the property's location, the date of the sale, the year the structure was built, the square footage and the number of units in the building. The city also provides information about the building's class — from family buildings to condos to office buildings.
Note that some records are incomplete and might not include every detail listed above.

The data comes from the Rolling Sales Update section of the city Web site. The New York City Department of Finance maintains the data, and updates it once a month. We at EveryBlock publish new transactions shortly thereafter.
Where else can I find property information?
The city provides the Automated City Register Information System, which allows for a search by document type, transaction number, and other criteria.
