    A police department mechanic is among eight people indicted for allegedly selling drugs in Manhattan. Prosecutors said Benny Garay and seven others carried out their sales -- mostly of crack cocaine -- at the Dyckman houses. Prosecutors said they eavesdropped on cell phone calls -- part of "Operation Snoop."Drugs and a gun were recovered in a Bronx apartment raid, prosecutors said. Garay has pleaded not guilty.
