(CBS) ― A Queens toddler found dead Tuesday, weeks after being returned to his mother by child welfare officials, died as the result of a homicide, the medical examiner determined Wednesday. Two-year-old Jashya Brown's bruised and possibly battered body was found inside his home on Beach 31st Street. His death comes weeks after being returned to his troubled mother by the city's Administration for Children's Services.
