The Ritz Plaza, a 43-story residential tower at 235 W. 48th St., Manhattan, is getting $151 million in financing through Freddie Mac. One of the largest multifamily financings so far this year, it was arranged by Meridian Capital Group and Walker & Dunlop.

In a statement, YWA partner Greg Carney says his company is "deeply committed to transforming the pier into a meaningful, dynamic destination for New Yorkers and visitors from all walks of life." YWA in June partnered with Korea-based Kumho to buy AIG’s Downtown headquarters at 70 Pine St. and 72 Wall St. for what is estimated at $100 million to $140 million.

The superintendent at 435 East 65th Street found Guido Felix Brinkmann's body in his fourth-floor apartment at around 6 p.m. Thursday. Police say Brinkmann's hands were tied behind his back and he had suffered a head injury.
