The detective, a court officer and a correction officer -- all off-duty -- at a party at a nearby Jamaica club tried to break up a fight involving five men. One of the men, Stephon Allston, 22, of 64 Grassmere Terr., Far Rockaway, opened fire on the detective, who identified himself as an officer, police said.
