  • 7528 Amboy Rd The Tuscan Sun Shines All the Way to Main Street

The one I am anticipating the most, and the inspiration for the title, will be opening very soon, as in, within the next week or so, at 7528 Amboy Road (at the corner of Main), almost directly across the street from Villaggio Pizzeria & Restaurant. The Tuscan Sun Foccaceria and Cafe looks (by peeking in the windows :-P) like it will be a gorgeous and innovative new business, taking Staten Island's favorite cuisine to all-new places. Having had many businesses try and fail at that location, having gotten a exterior makeover nearly two years ago, and having plans for new businesses fall through, I think it's about time someone got it right. Everyone should check out this new eatery when it opens, and maybe it will become a new part of the fabric and history of this neighborhood.
