NY1 has this report about "Bronx officials" calling for the city and the Yankees to hold up their ends of the deal on the delayed and diminished replacement parks that were promised in return for the taking of Mullaly and Macombs Dam Parks. But the only official quoted is Helen Foster.

DOT Decision in Queens Impacts Manhattan Residents Parking
As I reported about 6 weeks ago the DOT was putting into action a plan to remove parking spaces on Vernon Blvd, LIC for bike lanes. At the time, not owning a car, I did not expect there would be an impact on Roosevelt Island car owners. Boy was I wrong.

Cops seeking assistance in locating missing Staten Island man
The police are asking the public to help in locating a 71-year-old Staten Island man who has been missing since Monday. Willie Barnett, 71, was last seen around 9:30 p.m. on Monday night in front of 355 Bard Ave. in West Brighton. He was on his way home from a doctor's appointment but never reached his destination.

Councilman James Oddo wants put a lid on the trash dispersal and has asked the city Department of Transportation to have workers be diligent in removing the garbage before the mowers make a bigger mess of it. The lawmaker referred to a recent incident at Hylan Boulevard and Narrows Road South in which workers didn't first remove trash from the grass before cutting it, spreading more pieces of trash over the Grasmere shoulder.

Speaking of A Voce, the man who was its first general manager, Michael Glick, opened his own steak house on the Upper East Side yesterday. At Parlor (1600 Third Ave. at 90th Street, 212-423-5888), chef Lucas Billheimer, formerly of Lure, is serving burgers and lobster rolls, as well as yellowfin tuna with edamame puree, bok choy, and pink grapefruit. Steak house classics are available, too.
