Just shy of two weeks ago I posted a rumor about 60 Greenpoint Avenue becoming an Italian restaurant. This week I have learned this is, in fact true. TWICE. The first time was from a reader (thanks Margot!). The second time was from the proprietor of said establishment himself: Paulie G. He writes:

*There are no sidewalks to speak of on Monitor between Greenpoint Avenue and Norman Avenue. Just a bunch of pot holes and a bunch of parked/idling cars mostly. Northside Car Service seems to be particularly fond of parking/hanging out on the “sidewalk” in this area.
