  • Borough Park Power Failure? Con Ed Doles Out Free Dry Ice

    Some 2,000 customers lost power in parts of Bay Ridge, Borough Park, Park Slope and Sunset Park on Sunday. Con Edison showed up not just with cable splicers and other work crews, but also tons of dry ice. The state’s Public Service Commission requires Con Edison to distribute dry ice to customers whenever power is out for more than 48 hours.
