    A yellow-bellied perp held up a man on West First Street on July 20 only to chicken out at the last minute. The victim told cops that he was near Avenue P at around 11:30 pm when the man pointed a handgun at him and demanded his money and cellphone.

Con Edison showed up not just with cable splicers and other work crews, but also tons of dry ice. The state’s Public Service Commission requires Con Edison to distribute dry ice to customers whenever power is out for more than 48 hours.
