  • Parkchester Man accused of taking $1,400 from meters

    The indictment said the thefts occurred from April through December of 2007 in the Parkchester section of the Bronx. Mr. Henderson was already jailed from an earlier arrest. He was accused of using a homemade key to break into a single parking meter in the Bronx and remove $20 in coins in June.

  • 1700 block of Bruckner Boulevard 2 men charged with string of thefts at Staten Island gyms

    Bradford, 50, of the 2300 block of Andrews Avenue, and Nieves, 32, of the 1700 block of Bruckner Boulevard, were nabbed yesterday at their respective Bronx homes and brought back to the North Shore's 120th Precinct by detectives who tracked the pair down after they bought a flat-screen television at Best Buy near the Staten Island Mall.
