  • Vanderbilt Avenue and Targee Street Man arrested in shooting in Staten Island's Stapleton section

    The shooting happened at the intersection of Vanderbilt Avenue and Targee Street at about 7:40 p.m. Thursday. Witnesses said they heard six shots ring out, and when the dust settled, a 34-year-old man was shot once in the chest, and a 33-year-old was shot once in the leg.
