Welcome to EveryBlock's special report on pharmacy scams in New York. In June 2008, New York Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo said that more than 250 CVS and Rite Aid pharmacies across the state – including 82 in New York City – sold expired items in March, April and May. Expired items purchased during an undercover investigation conducted by Cuomo's office included milk, eggs, infant formula and medications.
